Insight into the jag press & publicity team: as our newest member, we thought we would pick on Penny so she could set the standard!

Aquarius is the 11th sign of the zodiac, and Aquarians are the perfect representatives for the Age of Aquarius. Those born under this sign have the social conscience needed to carry us into the new millennium. These folks are humanitarian, philanthropic and keenly interested in making the world a better place. Along those lines, they’d like to make the world work better, which is why they focus much of their energy on our social institutions and how they work (or don’t work). Aquarians are visionaries, progressive souls who love to spend time thinking about how things can be better. They are also quick to engage others in this process, which is why they have so many friends and acquaintances.

PR campaigns that have really impressed you:

A few recent PR campaigns that really impressed are Royal Mail painting their traditionally red post boxes gold for the Olympics in honour of our medal winning athletes – I think this was great and certainly got the media talking.

Coca Cola always get me at Christmas – I personally don’t like the drink, but sure enough, every year –  I see that lorry and hear the ‘Holidays are commin’ – and I think ‘ oh its finally Christmas!’

I really enjoy the Movember campaign – I think it is genius – it has naturally developed and each year the campaign gets stronger. Its for a great cause and I think we have a lot to learn from it.

What do you love about communications?

Communication – such a great tool! Whether its what you say, how you say it or what your body is saying – you can express yourself in many ways. What you do matters as much as what you say. In business and outside of business this needs to be considered and if used correctly, it can be an extremely successful tool.

Communication is developing so rapidly. I am embracing new communication tools such as social media – what is not to love! Nowadays information is so widely available to us all that we go looking for specific information as opposed to the information finding us.

The perfect holiday:

People have very different ideas about what the perfect holiday entails, depending on if they prefer an active break, one sat by the pool or something more culturally inspiring. There is nothing like the feeling of time away from reality. The perfect holiday for me would be one that is active, memorable and long! I enjoy exploring and embracing new cultures. My idea of a perfect holiday would be to spend two weeks exploring and the third week relaxing by the beach with cocktails, dinners and dancing 🙂 Any offers?

Exercise… or not:

Exercise every time! – During the winter months, I become relaxed with my gym visits and runs – but as soon as that frost lifts, there is no excuse! Keeping active keeps you healthy and I would promote that every time.
