Brief: Raise awareness of Jumpstart Design in local business press and professional design press

Objectives:
1.    Start to build national profile: An international company with multi-national clients
2.    Start to build regional/local profile: Raise awareness of Jumpstart as a local company flexible enough to also work with local businesses in Horsham/West Sussex/South East, including start-ups
3.    Support the acquisition of new business

PR Strategy:
Raise awareness of Jumpstart in the local business press
Begin to raise awareness in the professional design and marketing press
Raise awareness in the trade/sector press – plan joint press activity with new Jumpstart Design clients

Plan:
A number of press releases – targeted at national, local and trade publications - were issued on a monthly basis which were subsequently picked up by the target press
Relationships were cultivated with key journalists in local business magazines/appropriate b2b magazines

Measurement and evaluation:
Leading national design magazine has run a couple of stories in the magazine and online
A total of 15 articles have appeared in the key printed and online press in the last nine months

Result: 
Jumpstart Design has a positive profile in the local business press and has won a number of new contracts
