Great coverage for jag press & publicity in the Sussex press

We were delighted with the local Sussex media coverage for jag press & publicity after we issued a press release announcing that we had won five Best of PR awards – we had great pieces in the West Sussex Country Times and in the Resident (only printed version available).

The awards were for the huge amount of media coverage jag press & publicity generated for a national health/mental health client recently – and that was after the client, at the bid stage, told us that other PR companies in the running had told them their campaign would not attract much coverage!

Here is the client press release that helped us generate the amount of publicity we did.

We have also pasted our own release below – we don’t normally shout from the roof tops about coverage for jag press & publicity but in this instance we felt we should!

Sussex based communications agency takes home five industry awards

Sussex based strategic communication agency jag press & publicity has won five Best for PR awards including a bronze for best national agency, two silvers in the charity and consumer categories and two further bronze awards in health and beauty and regional (South East) categories .

jag battled against 150 agencies in the popular consumer and national categories and managed to scoop a silver and bronze, achieving higher rankings than many big name agencies.

The Horsham based agency was set up in 2008 by director Ann Grain who has over 15 years experience in strategic communications and media relations. jag’s vision of clear and open client relationships has helped to build up a strong client base nationally and in the south east, with many high profile clients including NHS Direct, the Department of Health and Sussex Partnership.

The awards received over 200 entries overall and required jag to submit case studies which showcased their skills and expertise in relation to the relevant categories entered. These rankings will now appear on the Best for PR website, allowing companies and organizations to search, select and contact leading PR agencies to suit their requirements.

Ann Grain, director of jag press & publicity, said: “I am delighted that jag has won five Best for PR awards. To achieve a silver award in both the consumer and charity categories is a real achievement for us, considering the tough competition we were up against.

“This is testament to the fantastic work the whole team at jag do. We hope by having our work recognised, new clients will contact us to see first-hand the results we can generate for their organisation.

“We pride ourselves on getting under the skin of our client’s business; understanding their key aims and objectives and working as part of the team to deliver the right messages and get the desired results in an accessible, engaging and creative format.”
