NACC’s ‘Meals on Wheels’ campaign is shortlisted for a marketing award

jag is delighted its client – the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) – has been shortlisted for a marketing award in the Cost Sector Catering awards . The NACC is one of three finalists in this category.

In a letter to Derek Johnson, chair of the NACC, Cost Sector Catering MD Andrew Archer says:

The Cost Sector Catering Awards are the pivotal point of the food service calendar and are recognised as the most coveted award that an executive can achieve during their career. To be one of three finalists in this category is an accolade in its own right.

Derek Johnson told us:

jag has enabled our ‘No One Should Go Hungry’ campaign (which seeks to tackle malnutrition in the care community) to go to another level and be recognised as one of the top marketing campaigns within our sector in 2010/11. Working with jag has made the NACC more focussed on what is required to increase coverage in the modern media, and it is so much more than just releasing a news release. jag has enabled the NACC to move forward in this area and provided more understanding of what is required by each type of media outlet.

The winner will be announced at an awards dinner on April 14 being held at the Hilton London Metropole.
