To support the launch, and communication activity, of a new national charity – John Paul II Foundation For Sport (JP2F4S) later this year. To provide ongoing communication support.

The inspiration behind the John Paul II Foundation For Sport (JP2F4S) is Pope John Paul’s own vision of sport as a means of building spiritual character through excellence in sporting skills and fitness.

Objectives:

1. Raise awareness and brand recognition in well defined stages
2. Design and write copy for the charity’s new website. Set up social media activity
3. Plan the launch event
4. Generate ongoing press coverage
5. Design new publications including leaflets and business cards

Measurement and evaluation:

The launch of JP2F4S in October 2011 attracted national and trade paper coverage.  jag press & publicity developed a range of merchandise for the launch as well as kick-starting Facebook and Twitter pages. The website, which was launched also in October 2011, has continued to grow apace and has several new sections and useful information.

The launch event, run by jag press & publicity, saw high profile attendees including Hugh Robertson, Minister for Sport and Archbishop Vincent Nichols.

The organisation continues to attract national and local media coverage as it continues its work to launch sports clubs up and down the country.
